Hello, will i need to download any additional driver when installing my ASUS A88XM-A Motherboard and AMD x4 860k or will they work together straight out of the box?

I would update the BIOS prior to your OS install. I also recommend running MEMTEST for several hours prior to your OS install. Test things in the simplest environment possible before complicating it with the OS.

The BIOS required for the 860K (1601) has been available since July 2014. Any motherboard you purchase from a large retailer should have a compatible BIOS. The latest BIOS is 2701. I would recommend you update to the latest as part of your build.

Okay, i shall update to 2701 when i have the computer booted up and everything installed, thankyou.

Just downloaded all the relevant drivers that I need, I shall do what you said before installing the OS, i already have Win10 on a flash ready and my product key, so all should be fine, thankyou.
