I built my own pc, and today I tried to turn it on to see if things were running properly, but absolutely nothing happened, except a small led around the power button. This is my first build and im not very experienced. Help!
I think its something to do with the mother board because my PSU only gives power to components needing power. Im not sure though.

Thanks,
Tristan

My Motherboard is the msi z97 gaming 5. The two main connectors from the psu ti the MB is the cpu at the top left and the 24 x 2 cable that connects to the side. There arent any others right? I have both of those connected.
