Hello guys.

I got a new processor and a cpu cooler yesterday. (Intel i5 4690k and a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo). I have a question about the temperatures. What is a good idle/load temperature with this cpu and cooler. I have also heard that in the first days the cpu is running a bit hotter. I get about 47C idle which is still fine i guess but i just wanted to ask this, because why not. :)

Thanks!

47c at completely idle is a little warm, but is still within a healthy temp for the processor.

Ideally your temp range for that CPU will look like this:

80C Hot (100% Load)
75C Warm
70C Warm (Heavy Load)
60C Norm
50C Norm (Medium Load)
40C Norm
30C Cool (Idle)

Here's a great full Intel Temperature CPU Guide on Tom's, I highly recommend giving it a read-through ;)
