I was putting kali on my usb via windows disk imager and accidentally cancelled it, I now cannot format the entire drive. When I look in Disk Management I see three partitions "NewVolume"3.02GB NTFS, 79MB, and 11.82 GB Unallocated. The only partition it allows me to format is the New volume. The Unallocated doesn't give me a format option and the 79MB partition errors when I Hit format. It reads "An unexpected error has occurred Check the System Event Log for more information on the error".

My event viewer log says this, The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device WpdBusEnumRoot\UMB\2&37c186b&0&STORAGE#VOLUME#_??_USBSTOR#DISK&VEN_LEXAR&PROD_USB_FLASH_DRIVE&REV_8.07#D985FC7369C1709716CA&0#.

Any help will be much appreciated

Solution
You need to delete all partitons on it and recreate them. This would be easiest with a tool like Minitool Partition Wizard Free Edition. Youd jsut right click on a partition you want to delete and select delete. Do the same for the second partition, then create a new partiton spanning the whole volume and format it to FAT32 or ExFAT or w/e you want. Then execute the commands; it'll probably only take a few minutes at the most.
