I need some recommended coolers for my FX-6300, my friends said to just stick with the Hyper 212 Evo but I don't think it'll fit my case, a Thermaltake Versa H22.

While most of my friends recommended the Hyper 212 Evo, one friend said if I really want to get into overclocking I should use liquid cooling but I'm not certain which one to pick, any advice?

The Cryorig H7 outperforms the CoolerMaster hyper212 EVO in everything from performance, to volume, cooler height to ram clearance to ease of install. The only bonus's to the hyper212 is its availability and price. It's generally somewhere around $7 cheaper. At 145mm tall it fits most cases easily, whereas the 160mm tall hyper212 can have issues.

For the 95w 6300, most of the better 970 boards show no difference to OC over the 990fx unless you are deliberately trying to get the 6300 to @5.0GHz. It's only the lower end 970s that show stability issues at high OC due to crappy power phases, lack of good heatsinks etc.

I'm sure it's a wonderful cooler, but I'm worried if it'll fit my case or not.

Yes it should far far better then the standard factory cooler now on the overclock that depends on your cpu there all different example I managed a 4.4 ghz oc on a FX 6100 MYSELF ON A EVO 212 BUT they say this cooler is better then the 212. So its just comes down to the cpu lotto ,,,

This is my build in full, I heard overclock also depends on the motherboard but the MSI 970 Gaming is a perfect fit for the FX-6300, MSI 970 also has an option called "OC Genie", not sure exactly what it does though aside from the OC part lol.

Made up my mind and plan on getting a Cryorig H7, talked to a friend about going for water cooling with a Corsair H60 but he said there really is no need for one because once you get anywhere over 4.0 GHz you'll be at the recommended spec for all video games out there, doubt I'll hit 4.0 GHz but one of my friends has the same exact motherboard and processor as I do and gets about 3.7-3.8 GHz out of his FX-6300 with a Hyper 212, if the Cryorig H7 truly is better then I should hit close to 4.0 GHz.
