Average CPU Temp

Hi

Just built my daughters PC for Crimbo and well not to sure if there is a temp that is to cold for average running temp, ok no gaming done yet just windows install and updates.

CPU is an AMD FX 8320 3.5ghz Black
Cooler is a Coolermaster Hyper Evo 212
MB Gigabyte 970A-UD3P
PSU Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze
RAM Corsair Vengeance Pro Series16GB DDR3 1866Mhz CL9 XMP
GPU EVGA NVIDIA GTX 750Ti 1020MHz (Boost 1085MHz) 5400MHz 2GB

Is 14 degrees to cold for average running temp ?

Well, a processor can never really be too cold. The cooler the better, but 14 degrees is not realistic. How are you checking your system's temperatures? Try HWMonitor.

I used Specky always found it a great little tool, but will deffo try a different program see if I get a different result... cheers

Try to check it with other softwares like Everest, MSI afterburner , Aida64 , Speedfan, Hwmonitor, or Realtemp
Btw 14°C idle means your cooling is A+, i'm impressed.

Try MSI Afterburner, go to Settings , monitoring, and set it so that it will show the temperatures in-game. Game with a demanding game for an hour and write your results.
