Laptop or Tablet buying advice for college/university?

As of currently, I have a gaming rig and a bulky laptop which has ok-ish performance. I originally got it because I needed a laptop badly at the time of buying, needed quite a bit of graphics/cpu power as it was originally used to replace my main computer, but shortly afterwards,I built a new gaming rig, and the laptop was used rarely. Only for a few times a year that I need to work on projects, and sometimes bring as a mobile gaming setup when I go to my friends' place. The bulk did not bother me much as I rarely used it. But now I constantly need to submit word processed assignments, finding that my laptop isn't suitable for my usage. It was too big and heavy.

Now I am thinking of getting a windows tablet/hybrid tablet/ultrabook. What I see myself doing is making word documents, intenet browsing for research, making presentations and watching youtube videos for entertainment. For the documents and presentations, I need a full size keyboard (considering ducky 60% keyboard) and a mouse. but for web browsing and watching videos, I can do on my phone, but doing on a bigger screen is always more pleasant. I may occasionally listen to music, do a little photoshopping, a lot of storage space is not needed, just enough to hold a few programs and my music library is enough, like 128gb ssd. Any suggestions on what models I am looking for? I will surely not game on it, but a few more seconds on Ps can be tolerated

For school use, I like picking a solid reliable system more than one with ooh-ahh looks and shine.

Lenovo T420s or T430s. Good keyboard, best case construction on the market I think. Will feel like new in 10 years if you take care of it. s models are the slimmer versions of the T series but have all the same construction and components. A used one is fine if you can check it out, there are many companies that use them and sell them so there is a big used market for them and many are in very good shape.

I'd take a used T model Lenovo vs just about any new system out there.
