I've finally got my new upgrade in place, but I'm having some errors upon POST which got me concerned.

The motherboard is a ASUS Z170-a with Intel 6600 CPU (Stock cooler)

The messages appears on boot as see in the attached picture(CPU Fan speed error detected.)

I've tried:

Removing the CPU FAN and make sure it's mounted correctly.

Upgrading UEFI/BIOS to newest version.

Verifying the FAN cord is connected correct in the CPU_FAN and NOT in CPU chassis etc.

The CPU fan is spinning fine, for what I can tell

I took a screenshot of HW monitor after playing last evening. (See picture 1)

Not sure if it's normal for the Intel 6th gen with stock cooler. (See picture 2)

Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks,

I narrowed the issue down to the fan couldn’t get higher than ~ 1000 RPM- Hence high temps when on heavy load and error on boot.

I read in another thread someone having similar issue and it could be caused by screws on motherboard shorten. So I removed the screws and I can the fan up to max ~ 2200RPM.

Anyone know what max RPM is on the Intel Stock cooler and what is safe temps are when on heavy load?
