My friend has issues with his brand new pc .The specs are
CPU: Intel Pentium G3260 3,30Ghz
Motherboard : Gigabyte H81M-S2PV
GPU: Sapphire R7 250 2GB
RAM : 4 GB Single 1333Mhz DDR3
PSU : 500Watt
HDD : WD Blue 1TB
Some games that doesn't require that much of power like League of Legends run smooth on Ultra settings at 120FPS. CS GO at 1280x960 All settings on medium without motion blur, never drops bellow 90 fps.It's fine you can play without any spikes for ever.
But when it comes to Battlefield 3 at 1280x960 all low settings fps are somewhere between 40-60 going up and down all the time you how it is. You can't play with that fps on battlefield.
Same thing on Warframe
We checked the usage on the card while gaming on cs go it constantly 100% on battlefield 3 is between 90-100% .Cpu doesn't show any weird usage it's on 60-80 %
I made a fresh clean install on windows yesterday made sure it's on high performance mode.
We even tried overclocking the card a bit giving 100Mhz to the Memory and 50Mhz to core but nothing. Just 2 fps boost
Another friend with a Gtx650 which is pretty close to r7 250 can play battlefield 3 on medium settings on 1920x1080 .
So What's the matter with it ? Should he upgrade his graphics card? The only thing that he wants, is to play even on low battlefield 3 and some other games.
