Hello, im starting out with my first build and I'm near the finishing touches, hooking up the GFX card to the PSU and cable managment.

The GFX card is in the board, however on the rear of the card there are two six pin connectors, 3 pins wide and two pins tall. The full-mod PSU has these cables (labeled VGA) that connect from the PSU as an 8 pin connector, 4 pins wide and 2 tall. At the other end of the cable it has a 6 pin connector and a 2 pin connector hanging off.

Do i run two cables from the PSU to the card, and disregard the connector hanging off, or is something wrong?

Thanks!!!

Solution
Yes, the 6+2-pin goes to the card and the 2-pin hangs off. It's made that way because some cards use 8 pin cables and some use 6 pin (like yours).
