hi,

is that ram cmk16GX4M2B3000C15 working with asus z170a?
Im asking that, because i buied both and when i start my new setup, the cpu led on the motherboard flashes briefly, then the ram led is about 5 sec constantly on and i get no screen.

thx for any help

Ram is installed at a2 and b2 like the manual told. and there is a "hard"switch on the mainobard for xmp where the setup of installed ram should be configuered. i triet that, but it didnt help.
any guesses for the problem?
i tried o search for onboard led on asus list. nothing found.
could it be, that the cpu is broken (cpu led flashes 0,5s in red at start)
or maybe the ram? cause that isnt in the list for that mainboard but it has config like other compatible rams.

sry for my bad english..

I have the same issue, however I was able to boot the system when I installed the DIMMS in slots b1 and b2.
Other combinations does not work for me (a1-b1, a1-a2, a1-b2 , a2,b1 ,a2,b2). Still wondering why the recommended slots are not working.
