Hi Forum,
Since i have reinstalled windows 10 x64 on my machine, my 4790K doesnt clock up while playing games. Its currently at stock settings (4.0GHz with 4.4GHz boost) but it doesnt go over 1GHz while playing Battlefield 4, which obviously makes the game just about unplayable. Ive never had this issue before i reinstalled windows and the only way ive been able to get around it is to turn off all limiting options in BIOS, which makes it boost to 4.4GHz at all times. Ive run Intels processor test program, and it boosted correctly during that, so im unsure what the issue is.
If anyone has any ideas i'd greatly appreciate it.
