Raidmax PSU with i3-4170 and GTX 750ti

As the title says I have a raidmax 450w PSU with a gtx 750ti and i3-4170. My question is can it run correctly, because I've heard bad things about Raidmax, but this PSU was given free after a summer computer building program. I know I don't have a 6 pin connector, but I can get an adapter.

I would stay a long way away from any raidmax PSU, as they are very much pieces of junk, and the fact that the PSU doesn't have a 6 pin connector is a good sign that the unit is over-rated as well. Go and buy a different PSU, and save yourself from having to replace your parts

probably, but it may well have killed your hardware by then as well
