Hey guys -

So I just got new PC (except my SSD and HDD) and I formatted both my SSD and HDD before installing my new gears.

I currently did not connect my HDD as I want to fully install my Windows and GPU drivers.

Question:
1. I am trying to upgrade my Windows 7 Professional 64bit to Windows 10 but they are saying my CD key is not working! What should I do?

2. I am trying to download google chrome but whenever I try to go to google website, IE is sainyg "there is a problem with this website's security certificate". I can get through this by pressing "coninute to this website (not recommended) but when I try to download the google chrome, a pop-up of 'there is a problem connecting securely to this website" and only option here is to "click here to close this website". What should I do?

Thanks guys!

for now dont upgrade to windows 10 as its very buggy and can also cause hardware and software, and try getting the google's offline installer or if you like i can upload it to MEGA and you could download it from there

is your windows7 activated?ie is the win7 key recognised?if so it should be relatively simple to upgrade to win10.once you get your win7 activated, upgrade to win10 and then download chrome.by now windows10 is far from buggy.ive upagraded 8 machines so far with no issues.

I think it did. When I booted my Win7 CD when installing the Win7, and when I typed in the CD key, it worked fine. Is there other way to see that my CD-Key got appropriately recognized?

OKAY!!!! I found the answer to Google Chrome!!!!

I did some research on YouTube and I saw a video saying "Make sure your time is correct". I thought it was stupid but I did anyways as my clock was wrong. (ex. it says 11pm but really its 10pm). But that didn't help!!!! But turns out my "DATE" was also wrong!!! WOAH.

And now, Google Chrome is installed successfully. I wasted like 3 hours trying to fix this... So dumb, but now I fixed it!!!

CONCLUSION:
Make sure your time AND date are both correct!
