Will the cm hyper 212 evo fit in Corsair carbide spec 3 horizontaly?

Hi guys i want to know if cm hyper will fit in corsair carbide spec 3. I know a lot of people say will fit but i have mounted the cooler horizontally so i dont know if it will fit in the case.

Can you help me?

My full specs:

Cpu: Amd 6300
Ram: Kingston kvr 8gb
Gpu: Msi r9 380 4gb
Mobo: gigabyte 990xa ud3
psu: corsair vx 550
case: TT Soprano 101rs

Just to confirm, I understand you to say that you have mounted the cooler so that the fan blows from side to side, rather than front to back.

Ya, top to bottom as I said. It's still the same height from cpu to case window which is 159mm so it doesn't matter how you mount it. Corsair lists max cooler height at 157mm. It may just fit or it may touch the case window. get the 200R and you won't have a problem.

Fit, yes, but that orientation is may put a little more stress on the mounting hardware and the motherboard.

So its a good idea to get the carbide spec 3 or no?. I only like this case should i risk it?

Here's some pics. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/y14efx77p6qz123/AAB5apqMCBVt7u3Eo8kXSiKIa?dl=0 it fits! It's a close fit in any situation. According to the specs, I think that case is supposed to be about 1mm too small 156mm vs 157mm, but pics show it fitting.
