Amd New Crimson Driver

sup,i just downloaded new AMD Crimson driver ver.15.11 for win10-64 bit
i have Catalyst 15.201 for my R7 240 *ill go with my 380 later*

is there any Conflict/Error if i install Crimson driver if i already have Catalyst?

should i uninstall Catalyst or it's fine?

is Crimson 15.11 more latest than Catalyst 15.201?

sorry for too much question,i just don't want mess to up my drivers, THANKS!

I'm pretty sure they replaced what we knew as CCC with "Radeon additional settings" which is just a few tweaks to the display and audio. The main settings are now called Radeon Settings. There is no CCC anymore basically. The whole entire driver and software suite gets replaced when you do this upgrade. Just do it from inside CCC and let it upgrade itself. That it what I did on my R9 290 PC and it is working just fine.

inside the CCC? like download the 200mb+ update there? uhm that's the ver. 15.30.1025-xxxxxxxxx right?

Crimson 15.11.1 is the latest available driver from AMD. So you may uninstall your current entire GPU driver and use DDU to cleanup the old remaining driver files from the system completely. Then install the latest AMD Crimson driver for best possible performance.

Yes, 15.30.1025 is Crimson. No need to make it complicated. Just do it from CCC if you want to take the easiest route. You don't have to uninstall the old driver. The only time I would do that is if you are switching to an Nvidia GPU. You could also just DL the driver directly from AMD's site but if you do it from within CCC, it will select the correct driver (R9 or R7, etc.) the correct OS (Windows, Linux, 64-bit or 32-bit, etc.). It is essentially doing the same thing in the end.

I already installed it, Thanks guys.
this new Driver is very responsive and easy too use,just one Problem, when i launch a game There's a Thing on upper right of my Screens("Save Highlight Ctrl+f2") any way to remove this?
