Hello. I just bought a gtx 970 and i want to overclock it. But i dont know if my psu can handle it. I have the silver power sp-ss500 model. Do i damage my card if i overclock and it and it cant handle it?
If it cant handle it, could you link a good psu for ~70 dollars or less? (i live in Sweden).
My rig: i5 4460, 8gb corsair vengeance, gigabyte g1 gtx 970, 1tb blue wd, silver power sp-ss500.

Thanks!

Well it's quite obvious why id want to overclock a card isnt it? :p. But if they're only 145w cards why does it recommend a minimum of 500w to run it? Sorry im not very good at how psu and such works.

Because you have to take the rest of the components in the PC into account, the CPU and hard drives do not run on the tears of squirrels do they?
