newly built Computer turns on and stays on but no visual.(no signal to monitor)

Processor – Intel Core i7-4790K Quad-Core
Motherboard – MSI z97 PC Mate ATX DDR3 2400 LGA 1150
Video Card – Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 4GB
RAM – Crucial 8GB Single
Power Supply – EVGA SuperNOVA 750W B1 80+ BRONZE
Hard Drive – Seagate 1TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache
CD Drive – Samsung SATA 1.5 Gb-s

everything is newly bought and built. no visuals when booted but stays on. does not have a sound beeper. i reseated the CPU and checked for bent pins, started the MoBo unmounted with just the CPU w/ heatsink RAM and GPU, and still no visual. I don't know what is wrong with it at this point.
 
Solution
The resolution of the screen is wrong try connecting your pc to your tv screen or anouther moniter and it should boot up fine.
Also you may have connected your video cable (hdmi etc.) to your motherboard using your cpu integrated graphics (which no longer function when you insert a video card) make sure your hdmi cable is connected to the graphics card and not the motherboard
