So in the computer I built for my mom about 7 months ago, I used a MSI 970 Gaming motherboard and a AMD R7-250 GPU. I just checked today in the bios, looking around since my mom said it was running a little slow for some reason. Then I noticed that the GPU is running at x8 in the first PCI-E x16 slot, while the GPU is fully inserted so I know that is not an issue. Just curious as to why this could be.
