I purchased a Sapphire HD7950 3gb refurb from newegg this morn. Now looking back at their other HD7950's I wonder if I purchased the 'inferior' one from the list?
Specifically I see they have one that is Dual Cooler, 1x8pin connector+1x6pin connector, Back Plate, and Black PCB.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202184

The one I purchased has Dual Fan, 2x6pin connector, no back plate, Blue PCB. Though it has 2xhdmi. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202169

That one with the Black PCB superior to the one I purchased in some way? ie Actually a potential 7970 in 7950 clothing; superior components, etc?

Thank you guru's in advance,

Solution
They are the same except for a back plate , that's all
Sapphire tends to first release the cards without a back plate , then release the same card with a back plate later in a new package .

This just the same card but smally up-dated from the outside : new paint and back plate .

Performance is same for both cards

Thank you, The black pcb color, back plate, fan shrouds and the 8 pin connector on the one I did not purchase had me wondering about the one I did purchase beyond model number. Well, mine is a refurb, so no telling what it was originally new upon manufacture.
Thank you again for sorting it out for me.
