I apologize for the epic noob question here but I just upgraded from 1 GTX 780 SC and I was able to game on my 1080p IPS Monitor Alongside streaming to my 1080p 40" TV with absolutely no problem...fast forward I upgraded to the 980ti Classy and the ROG Switft PG 279Q 1440p monitor and I plug that in along with my same 40' TV and I am getting under 10FPS in Witcher 3 and an immense lag with NBA 2K16...according to EVGA Precision the temps are good they stay < 65 or so but I was not expecting this to NOT work per say....does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong here? Did I install the card wrong? Is it just too much for a 980ti? (I feel like it shouldn't be...)
Side note: Does can anyone recommend the best software to monitor CPU temps? NO idea how to check that btw I have a 4790K 16gb ram 980ti 750w PSU
EDIT: Oh and for the record I am using Display port to the ROG Swift, and a DVI to HDMI to the TV!
EDIT: Also so sorry, when I hook up the 1440p monitor AND my old 1080p IPS monitor the FPS is great! Well over 60FPS in Witcher 3 at 1440p completely maxed out! Wtf! It seems like it is definitely the TV!
