Can my power supply ?

Hello iam on phone so i dont know how this gonna look like
I ordered a evga ssc gtx 970 4gb
And iam little bit worry if my ps can handle it
I have gigabyte 470watt i think cuz on top right it has that number
My build is
Core i7 3770
Ram 8gb corsair
Hard 500 gb (green)
No coolers no ssd's no extra fans
I think iam okay right ?

I would upgrade the power supply , Gigabyte PSU's are poor quality.

And I don't think the Gigabyte will have enough PCIE connections.

It doesn't have the needed PCIE power connections , so you need to upgrade.

Actually it's more around 400 watts with 470 watt peak and only around 30 or so amps. Made by FSP, it's a little on the weak side and only has a single PCIe cable.

Well the evga comes with 8 pin adapter idont know if thats gonna make any diffirence

With that low quality under powered PSU adapters are a bad idea , you need to replace it.

I actually spent all my money for this gpu so if test it whats gonna happen if the ps cant handle it ?

It may or may not run , it's a weak PSU without the proper connections , if it runs it won't last too long.

A low quality PSU can damage your card and/or your entire system, better safe than sorry. Save a little more for the PSU.

Gigabyte PSUs are not good. Even though Gigabyte having the BEST motherboards.
PSU is the most important part in a build. You should never get a low quality one as anything could be effected from apps not working under load to damaging the motherboard and other parts. In rare cases low quality PSUs have been known to catch fire.

Video is correct except the CX and similar Corsair units might fall under the same "do not buy at all costs" category.
