Good cooler for overclocking Core i7 4790k

I use a Noctua NH D15S and have gotten to 4.6Ghz (so far), but there are some cheaper 'big air' coolers. The Noctua NH C-14S is also an option. I got my i5 4690K to 4.8Ghz on this cooler.

Even the mid-range cooler should do for 4.6Ghz. Depends on how far you want to go.

Air is generally simpler, easier to install, more efficient, and quieter. Will the 240m fit in your case? If you want to try something extreme, liquid is good, otherwise, use air if you can.

It's not about better or worse, it's about different. Because a 240 or 280 mm Radiator can have up to four fans on it, it can cool better in extreme situations, like a 4.8 or 4.9 Ghz overclock, or where the ambient temperature is high (you live in a hot climate with no air conditioning). In other circumstances a big air cooler is just as good.
Also, if you plan to move your system around, liquid cooling is more suited to moving your computer. I do not know your circumstances, so cannot offer definite advice. If one where better than the other, I would say so.
