Do I need usb 3.0

Just relized my motherboard doesn't come with usb 3.0 and my case only has usb 3.0 front slots. Are the front usb 3.0 important or are they just so you can plug something in easier?

USB 3.0 is nice because it is faster than USB 2.0, but USB 3.0 is by no means neccessary. You can get by with USB 2.0 just fine.

You should be able to plug your cases' USB 3.0 header into the motherboards USB 2.0 port and still use the front connectors at USB 2.0 speeds.
