System

cpu: fx 8350
cpu cooler: hyper evo 212 with arctic silver 5
ram: 8gb x 2 Kingston hyper x savage 1600
mobo: 970a-ud3p rev 2.0
gpu: zotac gtx 970 AMP! Extreme core edition. (rated for 151w max pull)
psu: Rosewill glacier 600w 80+ bronze rated at a 45a pull.
1 blu ray drive.

at the oldest everything is 7 months. gpu is like. maybe 4 days old...the cooler is 2 months old.

im expecting a bad psu. everything is at sspeeds they were out of box...

But even if its the psu. im pulling. what. max 35amps? under full load.

regradless a 750w gold 62.5a rating will be here tuesday to test.

I've contacted warranty and tech support for amd. zotac. and gigabyte for the mobo. idc if its the psu for a warranty or anything since. well. i got a better one coming anyways.

this is my...4th build and the 2nd time iver ever had a problem. 1st build. 1st week. an asrock mobo had a power leak and friend my 550ti. they wouldnt replace the mobo. but evga replaced my card. so i contact each side and offer to provide any specs and information they need.

Any ideas would be great. i heard some people pull out the mobo battery? is that safe? worth a try?

EDIT: Should confirm. Bios is latest. Even a cmos reset and factory defaults does not help. Problems continue.

I suspect its a psu and cpu problem. as lately my cpu is pulling 1.412 volts to run stock settings. which would be more amps. and if the psu is dying anyways. its worse.

EDIT 2: Using cpu z and another one. Not at the same time. I watch my core voltage jump. from 0.962-1.412v is the voltage supposed to jump up and down like that...im suspecting thats where my stuttering and failure is coming from now. I keep hovering over old threads and checkign different things. Anyone else experience this with cpu voltage?

alright. i went back in and turned those off. didnt adjust multipliers or anything. its a constant 1.416 - 1.428 for its 4.118ghz. reading around. it seems like i got a lower end 8350 chip :p i figured itd use that much voltage if i ever overclocked it. well if it lasts 3 more months. im just gonna go with an intel build. its just pulling ot many amps. and apparently my rosewill model psu is not entirely uncommon for my model to have issues pulling its load for more than hour or 2.
