I have a Asus AC68U as my home network router. WAN connection goes through Huawei E5186 (LTE-modem). Download speed isn't any kind of issue, i get usually 25 -80 Mbps download speed, sometimes over 100 Mbps. Upload is around 50 Mbps.

On my home network I have one wired connection to the AC68U, tha's the Xerox printer via ethernet. All other devices are conected via 2.4 GHz or 5GHz wireless connection. There is around 15-18 devices connected every single day: android mobiles, Apple computer, Windows 10 Computer, iPhones, Microsoft Lumia phones, Chromecast and Philips Smart TV with Miracast, X-Box 360.

When I set up the router, everything works fluently and there is no problem. but after a day or two, the internet connection goes to be horrible slow. If I switch any device to go directly via Huawei E5186, the connection is very good again. But when I switch it back to AC68U, connection goes slow again.

I tested now Ookla Speedtest, when IP TV started to lag again. When I run Ookla Speedtest via AC68U, it takes 2 - 3 minutes before it founds a server. When it finds a server, the speed is good. When I connect via E5186, it takes Ookla 5 -10 seconds to find a server. Download speed is almost same.

I tried to see Youtube films on my desktop Windows 10 computer. Via Asus AC68U, it lagged and stopped sometimes for a minute or two to download more stream. When I look at same Youtube films via Huawei E5186, there is not any kind of lag, the film shows fluently without stops.

I rebooted the Asus AC68U. That was a miracle cure - any kind of speed issues was gone. But I have done that almost every day, the reboot. it works fine a day or two, then all devices internet connections start to lag again. And reboot solves the problem. for a day or two. Argh, this is not the way I thought it will work when I bought an almost 200€ router! is there ANY kind of solution other than daily reboot?
