Please help! I have loads of problems and I need help. Everything was working before and this is only my first build. Here they are in order of happening. Specs listed on bottom
1. No video output

2. CPU fan stopped spinning. It only spins when the CPU is not in (suspected bent pins)

3. Graphics card fans stopped spinning

4. Psu won't work when connected to the motherboard

5. Psu smoked for about a 5 second then stopped. Won't turn on again.

Specs:
i5 4590
1TB sea gate hard drive
ASRock H97M motherboard
16gb (8x2) ares series RAM
cooler master elite 130
Asus gtx 970 strix 4gb vram
Corsair CX 430 watt psu

Your psu is dead.

How old is that complete build listed?
Im gonna also jump the gun and say 430w was not enough for your build. That one is rated for a 32a pull. i have a similar setup with an amd power hungry processor. and im sucking ~36-38a. also being bronze certified doesnt mean youll get those results either. you could get less. which could be the problem.

i ask how old. because youre gonna wanna try and get teh warranties and a better power supply.

I think most people for a single card build would suggest
the evga g2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438049
But after rebate for the same price this rm 750 corsair http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139055&cm_re=rm750-_-17-139-055-_-Product

I have the 750w coming this week. but i plan to sli 2 gtx 970s in the future.

Keep in mind. There mightve been damage caused to other parts. so if you get a new psu. everything might not be fine and dandy. and warranties may be needed to be put in for.

I'm super sorry but I forgot to mention that it's and mini-itx build. Also I'll be making sure to make the warranties. What parts do you think would be most affected. Sorry for all the questions I'm completely new to all this. Thanks for all the help

Most affected. Id go in order cpu mobo gpu ram. If nothing starts fine with a new stronger better psu. Thats the order id go in. I hope the gpu is fine. But I have bad experience with Asus warranties. Lol. They are reliable. But can be a pain.
