Upgrade from AMD A10 5800K to AMD FX 8350

Currently I am running an AMD A10 5800K and I am looking to upgrade. I had the AMD FX 8350 in mind but I heard that it is not that much of an upgrade compared to what I currently have and I am to see if this true or not

Total budget would be good for folks to make recommendations.

Also, as you can see, the FX-8350 is quite a bit more capable than the A10 in benchmarks. In practical use, the difference may not be so noticeable as the same basic architecture resides in both CPUs.

You might be better served by looking at a Intel based solution if performance gains are your primary concern. Just something to think about.
