Need Help Choosing Case Fans

I've recently been looking at a decent amount of case fans for my new gaming rig (GTX 980 Strix with a 4790k w/ a GTX H110i) I want a cool computer (Temperature-wise) as it's right next to my leg and I don't want to be melting. The case that I already have bought is the NZXT H440- and I was curious if having PWM fans really matter - currently I'm looking at COUGAR LED fans(x3 120mm fans in the front, x1 140mm fan in the back) as they match with the desktop, and have higher CFM as well as less Db compared to the case fans that come with the desktop itself. They only have 3 pins - and I'm curious if they will run better or worse compared to fans with a PWM pin. I usually don't mess with my fan's speed but was just curious if having PWM makes a huge difference. Also, will the 3-pin COUGAR fans connect to the PMW fan hub in the back of the NZXT H440?

Overall, would I be better switching from the 3-pin fans to PWM fans or would the Cougars be fine?

Thanks for the help!

Yes it will be fine, you can use any other fans you want, keep the pwm on the CPU, the PWM will help the other fans slightly, as one fan cranks up, the others will aswell if you go with PWM fans, just 3 pin fans and you can read the RPM. The 3 pin is only a DC with a tachometer which reads the exact rpm of the fan for you.

PWM fans mainly only matter on the CPU, because that is what its going to be changing the RPMS mainly to cool the CPU as the heat increases, for the other PWM you can just use any fan, it does not really matter. the biggest one that matters is the CPU cooler that it has 4 pin.

So the H110i GTX would be fine plugged into my mobo? And I can plug the 3-pin case fans into the PWM hub on the back?

Also, I know this is a random question, but is pcpartpicker a reliable source? I mean, if I were to buy everything off of newegg would it be fine? There doesn't seem to be a huge price difference other than $10-20 on few products. It also seems a lot easier just to order everything off of newegg instead of ordering 15 individual parts from different websites.
