What's the difference between these cards?

I've been planning on getting a 980ti, and noticed there's another variant of the card, just wondering if there's any difference.

The one in the link is the reference card, it's the one that NVIDIA originally created. It's ok but it doesn't have great fans and thermal solutions. The EVGA one is a card which is exactly identical except it has different fans and heatpipes which more efficientally get rid of heat. Plenty of companies have made their own versions with their own fans and heatpipes, and some of the more expensive cards have also been factory overclocked. Some variants come with liquid cooling, some with 3 fans, some with 1, etc. I would go with the EVGA model.

The photo is of the evga kingpin version. It is very highly overclocked and will cost a bunch more.
The link is to the stock version with a titan blower cooler.
I particularly like those because all of the heat is sent directly out the back of the case.
With the fan type coolers, you need better case cooling to get rid of the heat.

I think you get good value from the factory overclocked versions. But the sc, ssc, or even FTW versions would be my pick.
The kingpin and classified are appropriate for those interested in max benchmarking more than gameplay.
