is the gtx 590 a good upgrade from a hd 6850

I am thinking of buying a gtx 590 and im wondering if its a good upgrad from my hd 6850 and if the 590 is still good for gaming.

The game i will be playing
fallout 4
battlefield 4/hardline
star wars battlefrount
rainbow six siege
arma 3/dayz mod
assassins creed syndicate
far cry 4

my current specs
i5 3470
hd 6850 1gb
cx 500w psu (can be upgraded)
12gb ddr3 1600mhz
42inc tv 1080p 60hz

Personally I'd go with a R9 380/GTX 960 and save upgrading your PSU. If you want more GPU power you would probably need to go R9 380x/390/GTX 970 and would probably need to consider upgrading your PSU to a quality 550w PSU of 80 PLUS Bronze or Gold Certified.

I could but i only have £100-£150 to spend on upgrading the gpu and i can get a gtx 590 for £84

GTX 590 = GTX 960, but the 960 will use less power, thus you wouldn't need to upgrade the PSU. The GTX 590 can consume over 500w for the total system when gaming see here.
