I have
AMD FX-8350 with stock cooler
Asus Strix 2GB GTX 960 with latest driver 7.12.15
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
AsRock 970 Pro3
8GB (2x4 dual channel) Hyperx Fury DDR3
Antex 600W ATX PSU

Description
After about 5 months since I built this computer I have started to have problems. I do not
believe these are because I built it. I have had a few viruses which were connected to
downloads but got rid of them I think. I think it started after I plugged my Logitech Extreme 3D
pro but do not believe this is the case. I also have some Gamdias peripherals. The games I
have experienced FPS drops are Planetside 2 and Dirty Bomb. I have not played many other
games since it started. It also fixes itself when I restart the computer sometimes. These games
are run through steam.

If you need more details just ask and I will do my best to answer. I have only started becoming involved with technology.

Thanks for all the future help

80c temp for cpu is dangerously high. 80c for videocard is fine however. Your chip is an octa-core, and general thumbrule of amd´s 8-cores is a safe temp below 61c.

Double check cpu temp and add an aircooler if temps go higher than 61c under heavy load.

About virus and malware.
There may be fragments and leftovers that can re-infect a system again. If you post your hijackthislog, I can look at it for you.

If you have increasing worse performance linear to how long your pc has been on since reboot, I would suspect a memory bottleneck (software related, not hardware related) or a temperature problem. So monitor temperatures during heavy load and post your findings.

The performance does get worse the longer I play or leave the computer on. My computer doesn't reach higher than 80 C
