Hi Guys,

My PC's motherboard & Graphic Card are getting too hot. Mobo temp is 30 degree Celsius at idle, 40 degree Celsius at normal operations & 65-70 while gaming (Far Cry 4 & other games of 2014-15). Graphic card temp is 30-35 degree Celsius at idle, 40-44 degree Celsius while watching youtube & 94 while gaming (Far Cry 4 & other games of 2014-15). I checked on youtube my graphic card is supposed to run Far Cry 4 at 60-64 degree Celsius.

As per earlier such questions & answers on this site, I have cleaned my PC, replaced thermal paste on my graphic card & CPU, added a fan on top of my cabinet. As of now I have a Micro ATX mobo running with 12mm 3 case fans (1 at top, 1 front intake fan & 1 exhaust fan on the back). The case is big enough for full size ATX board & there are air vents on side & top. I am planning to add another side fan. But I don't think it will help much.

I use speccy to monitor the temperature. I even removed cover & touched to mobo & graphic card to check & they do feel really hot.

Please find below complete specs of my PC:

Mobo: M5A78LM_LX_V2
Case Fans: 3
Graphic card: ATI Radeon HD 7730
Ram: Kingston 12 GB (8 + 4 - 2 sticks)
HDD: WD 2.5 TB (0.5 + 2 TB)
Power Supply: Corsair VS 550 W

Please help...

Thanks in advance.

My rule of thumb is as long as it never goes above 70 I'm fine, so if yours under load is below 70 that's way lower the the tjmaxx for that processor, so no need to worry about that. You can try attaching another fan to the other side of the cpu cooler for a psu pull config
