is intel xeon x3470 processor compatible with Asus p7h55/usb3 mother board

My intel DH55PJ motherboard failed and now I want to use the Intel Xeon X3470 processor in the failed motherboard in new Asus H55 or P55 chipset motherboards with usb3 support like Asus
P7H55-M USB3. Any compatibility issues as this mother board is not listed in compatible boards for x3470.

While you are correct in that this CPU is not listed in the compatibility list, the fact that it is a Lynfield core CPU means that it might work.
But then, it might not.
Only way to know for sure it to try.

Tan Q. On further searching as per PCspecs the board(Asus P7H55-M/USB3)is compatible and hence most probably I will go for it.
