The internet says that most models come with a Core i3 330M (1st gen). I do not recommend jumping straight to an i7 because the cooler assembly might not cope and it could overheat. I would instead go mid way to an i5 (480m or 540m). Also when getting to an i7, you will also need a more powerful power supply, so you will also need to upgrade your charger to a 120 watt.
