Hi guys i've been planning to upgrade my GPU for quite a while now to a SAPPHIRE R9 380 NITRO dual-x 4GB or a MSI GTX960 GAMING 4GB . Both cards are around the same price range but the R9 is slightly cheaper , i don't know which to choose . I'm currently using a asus gtx650 ti boost oc dc ii 2gb which is already not bad but with games that are constantly asking for higher requirements i think its time to get a new one . This build cost me around $750 Dollars which is decent My current upgrade budget is around $300 , So which of the 2 do you guys recommend ? Or you can introduce some better ones in that price range . Here are my current pc specs . Thx in advance ~~

-Motherboard : MSI Z87-g45 gaming
-Processor : Intel Core i5 4570 3.2 GHz
-Ram : Kingston HyperX Predator 2 x 4gb ddr3
-Gpu : Asus GTX 650 ti boost oc dc ii 2gb
-OS : win10 64bit
-Monitor : Samsung SC20C300L 22" LED 1600x900 60 Hz
-Power Supp. Corsair VS650w
-Storage : 1TB WD HDD

You will be fine running 8GB of RAM for multi monitor configs. RAM is extremely cheap now so you could get more if you wanted, the only thing that you really could do is overclocking it, and only if that doesn't help then more RAM. If you also plan to do more video rendering I recommend just topping it off for the 390, you will see noticeable difference between them. The 380x is definitely the great middle since you want save and get the most out of it, so go ahead and go for it. :)

P.S Don't forget to pick a solution :)

Between those two specifically, get the R9-380. It is considerably faster and almost always cheaper than the GTX 960. AMD just released the R9-380x so you can pick that up for around $229. If you want to maximize you budget, the R9-390s have regularly been $300 and below with sales and MIR. So this is the breakdown I recommend.

Minimum Upgrade - R9-380, lowest price is $179 - $20 MIR = $159
Medium Upgrade - R9-380x, $229
Maxiumum Upgrade - R9-390 $289 - $20 MIR = $269.99

Edit: Here is a comparison list on Newegg between the 380, 380x, and the 390 for the price points listed: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?CompareItemList=-1%7C14-131-672%5E14-131-672%2C14-131-673%5E14-131-673%2C14-131-685%5E14-131-685

The 390 is abit of a overkill ahaha 8gb worth o vram is insane xD but i might get the 380x as i want to save as much as possible yet still get the best performance . Oh and i forgot to mention in the topic , should i get more ram to run multiple monitors as i do some online marketing stuff and some video rendering ?
