Hi, I'm wanting to use 3 displays with my PC using the onboard graphics of my Asus Z87-Plus motherboard which states:
Multi-VGA output support : HDMI/DVI-D/RGB/Mini DisplayPort ports *1
- Supports HDMI with max. resolution 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz / 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz
- Supports DVI-D with max. resolution 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz
- Supports RGB with max. resolution 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz
- Supports Mini DisplayPort with max. resolution 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz / 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz
- Supports up to 3 displays simultaneously

With these ports on the rear:
1 x DVI-D
1 x D-Sub
1 x HDMI
1 x Mini DisplayPort(s)

The onboard graphics are intel 5000 (haswell) and intel say to get 3 monitors working I need this configuration (I don't have a wireless display and it's not a laptop with a built in display):
Display 1 = DisplayPort*
Display 2 = DisplayPort*
Display 3 = HDMI* or DVI or VGA or DisplayPort or Built-in Display2

How can I achieve this if my TV doesn't have a display port?

Thank you

Here's what you'll need:

1 Mini Displayport to Standard Displayport

http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters%C2%AE-DisplayPort-Thunderbolt-Compatible/dp/B00C7RJQPY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1449502063&sr=8-3&keywords=mini+displayport+to+displayport

1 DVI to Displayport

http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters%C2%AE-Gold-Plated-DisplayPort/dp/B004C9M7UG/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1449502128&sr=1-4&keywords=dvi+to+displayport

And one HDMI cable

Assuming that the two new monitors do support diaplayport. Keep in mind though that for gaming the HD 5000 graphics on the i5 won't give you playable settings on even the lowest settings on a triple monitor set up, so you'd be looking at using the two side monitors only for productivity.

How much are you willing to pay per monitor?

Since it isn't for gaming, you can consider HP's Pavilion 22x and 23xw. They are 21.5" and 23" respectively, retail for $99 and $129, are IPS and LED Backlit monitors and have good colour reproduction and contrast.

AOC's i2367Fh ($142) are very well reviewed for having excellent image quality at a low price:

And finally we have Dell's S2415H ($202), a relatively expensive but extremely good monitor for what you are getting.

http://www.amazon.com/Dell-S2415H-24-Inch-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B00M9B3XZW/ref=sr_1_12?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1449504832&sr=1-12&keywords=frameless+monitor
Pity you didn't ask just a bit sooner. The AOC was down to $128 and the Dell to $149 on black friday, both a steal at that price :(.

Thanks, the AOC you mentioned looks promising but its £15 more than the model I mentioned at the moment (on ebuyer). I'm in the UK.
Prices may change but I'm only window shopping at the moment. I've only recently added the TV to the mix so I'm back to saving haha

Okay I have a problem with the display port to dvi. The amazon link says it's not a bi direction cable. I've tried it by connecting the display port to the monitor and dvi to pc. Nothing comes through even for single display. Does this cable only work the other way around.??

Right, strange occurance. I took off the DisplayPort to DVI cable and tried a regular VGA to VGA cable. I forgot the motherboard had one of these and so did the monitor. 3 monitors all working. Intel graphics manager shows the VGA one as a Monitor rather than Digital input but I don't think it makes a difference.
I find it surprising that a DisplayPort to DVI cable wont work both ways though. This is my setup:
Display 1: Mini DisplayPort to Display Port on Monitor
Display 2: VGA to VGA on Monitor
Display 3: HDMI to HDMI on Samsung TV.

Yikes, I missed that. Looks like it only supports Displayport from the PC to DVI for the monitor. Sorry :(.

Glad they are working! I knew the motherboard had a VGA port, but we generally try to avoid using those as they are very fiddly and often give a lower quality picture, depending on the cable and condition of the ports. But if you don't see a difference, it should be fine :).
