Hi.

I have created a system that I am looking to purchase.

I already have a current pc, with monitor and mouse and such. I also have a 128gb ssd, H55 water cooling, just looking to upgrade everything really.

Here is what I have:

Any advice? What sort of FPS could I expect to get on high end games (1080p)?

Thanks!

PSU is a tier 4 model:

"Built down to a low price. Not exactly the most stable units ever created. Very basic
safety circuitry or even thin gauge wiring used. Not for gaming rigs or overclocking
systems of any kind. Avoid unless your budget dictates your choice."

How about a tier 2: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold Modular £67.98@CCL Computers.

"Safe to use and are all stable for any PC of today's standards, including Haswell C Stepping
certification. Recommended for those on a fairly limited budget."

for 1080p I wouldn't bother changing anything. Enjoy what you have and wait for 4k monitors & gpu's to drop in price / be released?

Maybe the better way to look at it is to ask what aspect of your PC aren't you happy with at the moment? That might answer the question on what to upgrade.

I could tweak "this or that" but it's not going to make any difference in performance. An i7, 16gb of ram(the new sweet spot), well reviewed Asus MB, solid PSU, GTX 970, this rig is badass. Down the line, you'll likely up the GPU to allow for 4K gaming.
