So, I was playing CS:GO on my computer when I noticed a rattling noise coming from either my PSU or my GPU. This persisted for a while but only when playing this game, a few hours later I was playing CS:S on my rig when my computer turned off completely, I tried turning it on but the computer wouldn't even POST and there was no fans or activity in the computer at all.

The next day I powered on the computer and to my surprise it powered on but my computer was not outputting to my monitor. I know that the GPU isn't dead as I have had sent it away for repairs and they have confirmed that the GPU is fully functional.

So, my question is what is causing my computer to not output to my monitor? I know the monitor is not broken and that the input is correct. (Specs below.)

ASRock 970 Pro3
GTX 660 Windforce
AMD FX-8350 (With water cooling, Corsair H80i)
8GB Corsair Vengeance Ram (Low profile)
1TB WD HDD
Samsung 850 EVO SSD

Thank you all for your help!

Well a cheiftec psu could be made by lots of different companies if its not made by delta or channel well its probably a pile of crap (even if it is its still probably a very low quality psu). If the no post checklist doesn't get you anywhere I would be looking at that power supply.

Turns out it was the PSU that had failed, getting a replacement soon!
