Well I'm very new to the PC building world and I'm trying to get started. I am very familiar with Mac OS X and related software, however I am lacking knowledge in the hardware department. I need some advice from the experts out there. I'm trying to build a PC for a price that many people would consider shameful, $500 USD. That includes Windows 10 and a wireless network dongle. I already have the other peripherals that I need due to my computer collecting habit. Here's my parts list.

What I need help with is that I know practically nothing about if these are compatible with each other, will work with my monitor, not explode, etc etc. Also I need to know what parts to switch with others that would work better and give me more bang for my (admittedly small) buck.

If anyone could help with this it would be SO appreciated. Don't be afraid to tell me I'm wrong. I'm ready to learn.

Fairly similar to what I was thinking, but without using a bunch of mail in rebates to get there.

this give you similar perfomance with a better video card for middle-weight gaming (most games will run on medoium settings), an SSD for your OS and most i,mportant software, Win 10. Wi-fi card.

This shoudl get you by for almost anything you want to do for the next couple of years
