Is this normal GPU fan noise?
I have an ATI Radeon HD 4650 which is working pretty well right now.
I'm just worried whether it's making too much noise, should it be making that noise and is it damaging it?

Note that I'm controlling the fan speed with SpeedFan. I set it at 50% and 100%.

Those cards ran hot anyway, I would make sure your case is clean of dust and rest easy, it sounds fine. If you are weary, just run any gpu temperature tool and watch it. its safe to call anything around 60c at idle or low usage okay, and anything over 90c while gaming, just listen for the fan to kick up. also, its best to just let it set the fan speed automatically most of the time.

I was using the SpeedFan for demonstration only. Also I forgot to tell that in every startup it firstly makes a pretty loud noise then when the card warms up it stops and gets back to normality. I guess it's because of temperature change since it normally stays at 30-40C.

my HD5770 does the same thing on startup. Nothing to worry about there.

mine lasts for about 30-40 seconds and the noise is different from the video's 100% but I guess it's good.
Thank you very much!
