Hello,
I'm helping a friend build a PC that he will be using for school work and video editing.

Approximate Purchase Date: December/Jannuary

Budget Range: 650/670$

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Video Editing, basic internet stuff

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Either amazon.com/amazon.de

Location: City, State/Region, Country - I'll be shipping either from the US or Germany to Western Europe. Pricing doesn't need to include shipping as we have a separate budget for that.

Parts Preferences: This is what I've come up with. Seems like a decent build but there is nothing I'm not willing to change. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JkmfQ7

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I'm not looking for anything other then value for my dollar. I don't care how it looks, it's gonna be under a desk anyways.

I have a 2tb external hard drive. The plan is to use that for storing all the big files, the ssd being for the stuff that is needed at that moment.

That should be fine. I just always recommend that any SSDs below 512 be paired with a traditional HDD for mass storage purposes.

I have made the suggested changes, thank you. But pcpartpicker says there might be a compatibility problem between the CPU and mobo and that the BIOS might need an update before running. Is that a problem? Or will the CPU run and then I can make the update and improve it's performance?

Thank you again.
Another question, do you think it would be wise to invest a little more money and get a GTX 960?

I've done a bit of research since I'm not aware of AMD's offerings and seen that this is probably a good idea. Would you recommend a specific card or any one should do well enough?
Thanks

Sorry, I just forgot to update the parts with the PSU. However I'm thinking of keeping the case for an easier build. This is the first build I'll ever do and I thought that more space to work with will make it easier. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
