Hi

<Story>
A few weeks ago my windows 8.1 froze on startup(it would start normally but in matter of few minutes it would start to slow down and eventually totaly freeze) and after i managed to get it to safe mode(where it worked normally) i wrote it off as rootkit/somevirus and reinstalled windows since i had nothing important on my disk.
About week or two later windows froze while it was working(i was about to shut it down and stopped android SDK manager that was in process of downloading) and eventually it went to black screen and i could only work with mouse.I couldn't start up windows after that.
So i reinstalled it again and saw the opportunity to upgrade to win10 which after restart started freezing on startup.
And now i formatted and installed windows 8.1 and applied updates and it's working for a day now without problems.
I also noticed that fragmentation was 2% which i optimized with windows tool,but i don't know if it matters.
<Story>

At this point i'm paranoid as fuck and starting to think that hdd might be the issue.
I have 3 year warranty on it,and this is my first year of heaving this laptop.
It came with ubuntu,and i got windows additionaly.
So i'm thinking on sending it to reclamation.

scandisk says that there are no problems.
But
Crystaldisk gave me this:

I need opinions on this,is hdd realy dying?
Is there something else that i might have missed,or heaven't done?
Could it be some other issue?

Thanks in advance
Sorry if it was a bit too long.

Solution
Yea current Pending Sector counts are just as bad as bad sectors.

There is one of two things you can do.

Use a program like BootnNuke, Active Kill Disk, or the Wipe feature in CCleaner and wipe the hard drive (BootnNuke would be best as it boots off a disk and is free) and do a few passes (3 min) on the entire hard drive.

Then reinstall windows and run the crystal disk info and see if they went away. Sometimes they do sometimes they get worse. Either way I would suggest replacing the drive.

Option 2) Replace the drive. Get a SSD or a Western Digital Black as they have 5 year warranties.

Hey there, lolerpnv.

Basically Dr Tweak's advice is right on the spot. By Low level formatting the drive (which would happen with the suggested programs), you may get rid of "false" pending sectors. Although having in mind the issues you've experienced, it's quite possible that this might not work, but it's worth the try.
I'd recommend that you opt out for RMA right away, to see if you can get the drive replaced so that you don't prolong your issues with what it seems to be a faulty drive.

And the most important thing of all - backup any important personal files you might have on that drive, which you're not prepared to lose. Low level formatting the HDD makes it impossible (or near impossible, depending on the method you've used) for any data to be recovered afterwards.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to double-check the drive with the HDD manufacturer's diagnostics tool.

Please let us know how everything goes.

Thanks for the responses,i ran dell diagnostics(i don't know why i didn't think of it earlier) and it found critical error on hdd with only proposed solution to replace it.
So i'm sending it to reclamation.
Thanks for all the help :D
