Hello everyone, my friend has a PC that we built together last year and currently it has Windows 8 installed on it. The problem is with the motherboard and processor. It has a Asrock FM2A75 Pro4+ motherboard inside it. He wanted to upgrade his processor so he decided to order a A10-7870k. Once we installed it we would get constant boot screens stating kernel security check errors. After that we took it to local PC repair shop and the guy there told us that the CPU and motherboard weren't compatible. I was confused since the cpu matches the socket type, so I did not see any reason why it wouldn't be compatible. After that my friend decided to order yet another processor, the AMD Athlon X4 860k, another FM2+ cpu. Now once we installed it we got more kernel errors and other blue screens. Now the PC is just stuck in a boot loop where it says "Starting automatic repair", then reboots to the asrock screen, then back to the automatic repair. I have no idea what to do so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
