Computer restarts when launching games

So I've had this computer for several years now, and its worked fairly fine until yesterday. All of a sudden, when I launched a game, my computer would restart. Now, I can't even get on chrome without it restarting, I'm having to post this from my phone.

One thing I've noticed is that after the restart, in the device manager there's a caution sign next to my nvidia video card that says something along the lines of windows has stopped this device because it reported problems.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not too tech savvy, so I don't know about the onboard graphics. I have an nvidia card and an Intel card. I'm not sure about the temperatures.

Not sure if this is useful, but now I can't get my HDMI monitor to work at all. I have to use a DVI monitor, and even then there's strange glitchy small strips of white covering the screen.

OK, so now my HDMI monitor is working fine again, the nvidia card shows up fine in the device manager, so its just back to the computer crashing. Any suggestions?

It's possible your power supply needs replaced. Otherwise, it might be getting too hot and in need of some cleaning and new thermal paste between the cpu and cooler, but you'll have to download a temperature monitor to see your temps like speed fan or real temp.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at here, the temperatures stay fairly consistently around the 50s.

What happens to the temps when you launch a game? And do you know what cpu you have?

I can't tell, the computer crashes before I can check. As for cpu, I have an Intel Core i7-2600

EDIT: Ok, so I tried checking the temps again, and this time I was able to play fine, with no crash. i have no why it suddenly worked this time, or if it will continue to work.
