Help please, I want to use a ASUS RT-N12 router in AP mode to connect and print to my Star TSP 100 lan printer from my IPAD Air. I want to use my IPAD Air running Square Register to print food orders in my truck using wireless to the router and Cat5 from router to printer if possible. Thank you for your assistance.

The router (RT-N12) does not have to be in AP mode, standard router mode should work just fine. Configure the LAN interface with static IP address. Enable DHCP, connect peripherals, you should be done. Thru' DHCP allocation page, assign fixed IP address for the printer.

It's entirery different question how do you configure your iPad, and its software, to print on networked printer.
