Solution
In looking at the Supported CPUs section on the motherboard website:

http://us.msi.com/product/motherboard/support/760GM-P34-FX.html#support-cpu

I see the FX-8320 is not supported. This is a 125w chip though:

http://shop.amd.com/en-us/components/processors/FD8320FRHKBOX

And the website does say it supports 125w chips.....so hopefully updating to the latest BIOS version will help.

I highly recommend reading the manual's 'navigating the BIOS' section so you know the basics of how to get around. You'll also need a couple of USB drives (one for backing up the current BIOS and one for uploading the new one).....and then just follow the instructions for flashing the BIOS (M-flash).

You will need to get a PS2 mouse and keyboard to get it working then (the lime and purple ports).

Alternatively, being that it's a new build, if you have the option to return it......I would. There are much better boards for AM3+ CPU that wouldn't give you this kind of trouble.

If that's not an option, then PS2 input devices will work when USB devices will not and should be able to get you into the BIOS and navigating around so you can update the BIOS from USB (which will work if you can get to the correct place in the BIOS).
