While playing games i get randomly fps spikes, my frames go from 120 to 1-10 fps and or my screen just displayes the same thin

System: MB- m5a99x CPU- amd 9590 fx GPU-EVGA GTX 970 FTW
PSU-850w thermaltake
While playing games I will be with high fps 100 fps and it will drop to 1-10fps for a few seconds and my screen will freeze, I updated my GPU drivers and it did nothing. Does anyone have any clue what it could be THANKS SO MUCH
My GPU in game says:
GPU clock- 1215mhz
Gpu memory- 3506mhz
memory usage- 475mb
TEMPs-
CPU- idle:35c highest- 60c
GPU idle 30c highest-72c

Have you tried setting a cap at like 60FPS? There isn't really much reason to be pushing your GPU up to 100 FPS

It sounds like a CPU bottleneck but your 9590Fx should be sufficient. How muck RAM are you running on your machine?
