So I just installed a new CPU (AMD 4350 Vishera 4.2 Ghz) from my old CPU (AMD Phenom ii x4 Black 965 3.5 Ghz). After installing the new CPU and letting it get adjusted I decided to boot up HWMonitor and check everything out. I go to the CPU area and it doesn't show the Core Temps. It shows everything for the CPU but not the Core Temps. Is there anyway to show this or is this something within AMD and the processor not supporting 3rd party programs

All FX processors are unlocked. I suggest downloading the newest HWMonitor. An older HWMonitor wasn't reporting my FX 8370's properties properly, after getting newest HWMonitor everything was fine.

Not really sure why HWMonitor isn't showing the temps. Did you restart after updating to latest version? To be perfectly honest HWMonitor may not show your true temps for the FX processor anyway. The only program that can 100% accurately show your temps is AMD Overdrive. FX processors are known to report false temps to a lot of other software. Overdrive will show you your Thermal Margin, ie how much room you have left till you reach tdp (thermal design power) so if it says 60C your processor is actually at 10C as 70C is tdp for FX processors. Use AMD Overdrive to monitor your CPU, but don't overclock though it. It is much better to overclock through BIOS if your going to do it.

Yeah and I don't plan to overclock it. I just wanted to monitor the cores while I do everyday task (Game, Browse, Email, Photo Edit). I don't think it will overheat while being at default but it is just one of those things I would boot up when I boot up my computer for the day. I have a back up Phenom ii x4 965 Black in case something does happen to it.

Thanks for the advice anyways!
