Since about 5 days ago I've been having an issue where any game played runs extremely rough, like it's running at 10FPS. Load times are also much longer. Tried World of Warships, Ark, Fallout 4, and some others all with the same performance issue. The only change I've done recently prior to this happening was upgrade to the new AMD Crimson drivers, and yesterday did the latest patch. Ran some benchmarks and noticed the CPU scores badly.
Yesterday, ran UserBenchMark and the CPU resulted in a rank of 24%, then 85%, and then 17%. Ran the test again today and below is what I'm seeing -

Also ran GeekBench3 yesterday and the scores were 3557(single) and 14237(multi). Then ran the same test today and got 865(single) 2985(multi) and a second test 869(single) 3190(multi). The tests are below for reference.

Ran CoreTemp1.0 and idle temps are around 26/27c and load while on Fallout 4 goes to around 31c (ultra settings). Also ran Live Update and made sure the core drivers were all up to date.
Hardware -
● MSI Z97 Gaming 7
● Intel 4790K w/ H100i Extreme Cooler
● XFX 290X
● 16GB DDR3 1600 GSkill
● 240GB SSD (OS, primary)
● 480GB SSD (games)
Wanted to see if anyone had any ideas or suggestions about this problem. Should I try and re-do the thermal on the CPU? Worked fine with the new Crimson drivers for a short while, so I haven't tried reverting the drivers, but feels like its the CPU.
